New Clothes to the Inmates of Govt. Leprosy Homes
Every year, for Deepavali, new clothes like- Sarees, Blouse pieces & towels for ladies and lungi, shirts and towels for men and children dresses being distributed to around 200 inmates of Government Rehabilitation (leprosy) Homes at Deviakurichi-Village, Attur-Tk and Selliampatty-Village in Dharmapuri-Dist.Sweets and one day provisions for Diwali for inmates is also provided.
Report of Clothe Distribution 2022
New Clothes for Diwali were distributed to the Leprosy patients of two Government Rehabilitation Homes at Deviyakurichi, Attur Taluk on 15.10.2022 & Selliampatty, Dharmapuri Dt on 16.10.2022.
A set of New Saree, blouse piece, inskirt & towel for female inmates; A set of new Shirt, lungi & towel for male inmates; Readymade garment with towel to children were provided. Sweets, snacks & hygiene kit (Coconut oil - 100 ml, bathing soap-2, washing powder- 100 gm, toothpaste-1, toothbrush-1) were distributed to all the inmates.
Total beneficiaries: Male-52, Female-47, Children-10 = 109 Leprosy patients
Ointment, cotton rolls & surgical bandages were given for the use of inmates. Grocery items were given to the two homes each for cooking on Diwali Day. Total amount spent for this activity Rs.80,750. The cost was sponsored by Members of Montfort Lodge, Yercaud and their acquaintances, Sri Subash & his team.
