Ramakrishna Mission Charitable Dispensary
Started in 1933. Presently, on an average 140 to 150 patients per day benefit. Mainly allopathic treatments are provided on all days (except Sundays and holidays). The charitable dispensary is visited by around 25 allopathic doctors, one Homeopathy and one Siddha doctor.
Different specialities in allopathy include - General, diabetics, ortho, Cardio, Gynec, dermatology, Peadiatrics, Neurology, ENT, Psychiatry, Dental, Physiotherapy, Ophthalmology. A medical laboratory, X-ray unit, dental x-ray unit, Ultra sound scan equipments function within the charitable dispensary premises.
A pharmacy with necessary allopathic medicines is being run in the dispensary premises. Medicines at highly concessional rates are provided to patients. Poor and needy patients are treated free of cost including medicines.

Inauguration of Dental Wing on 6.3.2023
Dental Wing (Satellite Clinic) by Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College - Department of Public Health Dentistry was inaugurated by Sri Sanket Balwant Waghe. IAS, Assistant Collector (Under Training), Salem on 6.3.2023. Dr. S.P.K.Kennedy Babu, Dean & Prof, Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry & Prof. Dr. J.Baby John, Dean, VMSDC, Salem were present.
Inauguration of Thyroid Equipment on 25.1.2023
Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA) System, Thyroid Gland Medical Equipment was inaugurated on Wednesday 25.1.2023 at our Ramakrishna Mission Charitable Dispensary.
The equipment was sponsored by Sri A.R.Santhagopalan & family, M/s AVR Kumbakonam Silver Shop Jewellers, Salem-1.
The program started with Veda Parayana and Welcome & introduction by Swami Yatatmananda. Sri Rajesh, The Health Cares, Salem explained about the machine.
